Michael Ware joined CNN in May 2006 and was based
in their Baghdad bureau for more than three years.
He is currently based out of New York and now covers
a number of conflict zones around the world, including
not only Iraq but also Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Mexico.
Prior to joining CNN, he was
Time
magazine's
Baghdad bureau chief.
He is one of the few Western journalists
who lived in Iraq throughout the war.
